Now that this War is finally over, Congress needs to revoke the AUMF and all other temporary powers that allowed 4 presidents to keep us at War for this long. Congress needs to take back their power and stop letting us go through this every decade when the military convinces a president to wage war.

Look people, members of the House are extremely busy and cannot be expected to spend much time in DC. Many are deeply involved in ass kissing events while others like Matt and Marjorie for example, are busy with their touring sideshow, spewing forth misinformation and propaganda which pretty much keeps them on the road. The folks need to explain what they are doing. The rest of us aren’t on vacation. If they’re working, if their committees are meeting, if they’re working with citizens, then they need to let us know. There’s a lot of work to do before they start running for election next year.

Got an election next year and they've got donor's that need tending. After all, it IS all about the money. Representing the people is really just a front for their real job.

The Senate needs to get back to work. There are bills sitting there waiting for them that came from the House, most importantly the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. We also need Congress to do something to force state and local governments to stop evictions and help people stay in their homes, so we don't have an even larger homeless crisis in the next year. There's plenty of work for the Senate to do. We don't pay these people to campaign and go on cable news shows.
