Trump's Attorney Pleads Guilty: What Do You Think?
Join us and tell your reps how you feel!
Michael Cohen, the former long-time personal attorney for Donald Trump, has entered into a plea deal with FBI prosecutors running the Russia investigation. Cohen admitted in court that he paid hush-money, on behalf of Donald Trump, to two women who threatened to expose sexual relationships with the then-candidate Donald Trump. His guilty plea carries the possibility of 3 to 5 years in prison. In return for the leniency, this likely means Cohen will cooperate with Independent Counsel Robert Mueller and his team, investigating whether the Trump campaign had ties with Russian officials who intentionally manipulated information in an attempt to swing the presidential election in Trump's favor.
What do you think Cohen's cooperation could mean for the investigation, and for President Trump? Does this change your outlook? What would you like to see happen next? Tell us — and more importantly, tell your Reps!
