Primary Election - August 6, 2024
Voter Registration Deadlines
- July 10, 2024 - Last day to register to vote online. Mailed in voter registration must be postmarked by this day.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Request an absentee ballot here.
Ballot Request Deadlines
- July 24, 2024 - Final day to apply for mail-in absentee ballot. Requests must be submitted by 5 p.m.
- August 5, 2024 - Last day to submit a request for an in-person absentee ballot.
Ballot Return Deadlines
- August 6, 2024 - Ballots are due by the close of polls on Election Day.
General Election - November 5, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 9, 2024 - Last day to register to vote.

- October 23, 2024 - Final day to apply for mail-in absentee ballot. Requests must be submitted by 5 p.m.
- November 4, 2024 - Last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person.
Ballot Return Deadlines
- November 5, 2024 - Ballots are due by the close of polls on Election Day.
Military and overseas citizens can vote by mail using the standard procedure. Ensure your mail-in ballot is postmarked by Election Day and received by the third day after.

Voter ID Laws
- Missouri requires a valid picture ID to vote, though they make some exceptions.
