Need a soundtrack for your July 4th BBQ? Causes has you covered like the sunscreen you should be wearing.
In honor of Independence Day, we're compiling a playlist to answer the question:
"Which song best symbolizes America?"
Need some ideas?
Past playlists have seen classics by Joan Baez, Bruce Springsteen, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Dylan. They're usually joined by more contemporary compositions: Childish Gambino's "This is America," Imagine Dragon's "America," and Disturbed's cover of "The Sound of Silence."
We also get a deluge of critical suggestions: The Taxpayer's "F*** America," Metallica's "Fade To Black," and Barry McGuire's "Eve of Destruction."
Hope, however, is always represented with inspiring ballads like Simon & Garfunkel’s “America,” The Black Eyed Peas’ “Where Is The Love?”, and Chicago’s “Saturday In The Park."
So what's your Fourth of July Jam?
Patriotic to pessimistic, let us know in the comments below. We'll release the🗽Causes Playlist for America 2022 on Monday.
