This bill would direct the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President pro tempore of the Senate to arrange for the presentation of a congressional gold medal in honor of President Shimon Peres of Israel. Peres is the ninth and current President of Israel, and has served twice as Israel's Prime Minister. The Senate bill is identical.
