What is H. Joint Res. 98?
(Updated March 1, 2019)
This joint resolution proposes an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that
prohibits Congress from making any law that is applicable to a U.S. citizen but not equally applicable to: (1) Congress; (2) the executive branch, including the President, Vice President, ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and all other officers of the United States, including those provided for under the Constitution and by law; and (3) Justices of the Supreme Court and judges of inferior courts.
