What is S. 1626?
(Updated July 13, 2017)
This bill would allow workers in the private sector to receive time off with pay instead of standard overtime, time-and-a-half pay. Sponsored by a trio of GOP senators, the White House, labor unions, and the National Partnership for Women & Families have opposed the bill.
