Primary Election - June 18, 2024
- Nonpresidential primary runoff - August 27, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- May 24, 2024 - Final day to register to vote online, in-person, or via mail.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines

Ballot Request Deadline
- June 3, 2024 - Last day to return a request for an absentee ballot at 5 p.m.
Ballot Return Deadline
- June 17, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot.
- June 18, 2024 - Absentee ballots returned by mail must be received by your county election board.
General Election - November 5, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 11, 2024 - Final day to register to vote online, in-person, or via mail.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Registered voters in Oklahoma who want to vote by absentee ballot this fall should submit an absentee ballot application to their local county election board or online as early as possible.
Ballot Request Deadline
- October 21, 2024 - Last day to return a request for an absentee ballot at 5 p.m.
Ballot Return Deadlines
Most completed absentee ballots must be notarized, regardless of whether they are hand-delivered or mailed. Find free absentee notary services here.
- November 4, 2024 - Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot.
- November 5, 2024, at 7 p.m. - Last day to return a completed mail-in absentee ballot.
Military and overseas citizens can vote by mail using the standard procedure. Ensure your ballot is received by election officials by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Don't have a valid ID?
- If you don’t have an acceptable form of ID, you can cast a provisional ballot. You’ll need to sign an affidavit confirming your identity. Election officials will determine whether the provisional ballot is legitimate after Election Day.
