Presidential Primary Election - February 6, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline

February 1, 2024 - Final day to register to vote online.
- Nevada allows same-day voter registration on Election Day.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Ballot Request and Return Deadline:
- All active registered voters in Nevada are automatically sent a ballot by mail, and no request is necessary.
- February 6, 2024 - Voted ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day (if hand delivered), or postmarked by Election Day in order to be counted.
Nonpresidential Primary Elections - June 11, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- June 6, 2024 - Final day to register to vote online.

- Nevada allows same-day voter registration on Election Day.

Military and overseas citizens can vote by mail using the standard procedure. Ensure your ballot is postmarked by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Voter ID Laws
- Nevada does not require identification to vote unless a precinct official challenges the vote.
- Nevada requires a valid picture ID to vote if you are registering for the first time or updating your existing voter registration, though they make some exceptions.
Accepted Credentials
- Here is the list of accepted credentials.
- Contact your County Clerk for an acceptable list of options.
Don't have a valid ID?
- Once you have registered to vote, no further voter ID is required to vote in Nevada except for some first-time voters.
