Primary Election - March 12, 2024
- Primary Run-Off Election: April 2, 2024.
Voter Registration Deadline
- February 12, 2024 - Last day to register in person at the Circuit Clerk's office. Final day to postmark voter registration forms for the Primary Election.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Ballot Request Deadline
- In Mississippi, mail-in absentee ballots are only available to some voters. Contact your county Circuit Clerk’s office to see if you qualify.
Ballot Return Deadline
- March 19, 2024 - Last day for mail-in ballots to be received by Circuit Clerks, but must be postmarked on or before Election Day.
General Election - November 5, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- October 7, 2024 - Final day to register to vote in person, and mail-in registrations postmarked on this day.

- November 2, 2024 - Final day to hand-deliver absentee ballot forms.
- November 13, 2024 - Mail-in ballots must be received by Circuit Clerks to be counted, but postmarked by Election Day.
