Presidential Primary Election - March 12, 2024
Voter Registration Deadlines

March 4, 2024 - Last day for online voter registration. Final day to postmark voter registration forms for the Presidential Primary Election.
- All voters may register in person and vote at their polling places on Election Day.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines

- All registered voters in Washington are automatically mailed a no-excuse absentee ballot. Learn more here.
Ballot Return Deadlines
- March 12, 2024 - Absentee ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, or returned to a ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on Presidential Primary Election Day.
Nonpresidential Primary Election - August 6, 2024

Voter ID Laws
- Washington requires a valid picture ID to vote in person.
Don't have a valid ID?
- You can obtain a Washington Identification Card from your local Licensing office.
- You can also cast a provisional ballot. Your signature on the ballot declaration must match the signature on your voter registration record for your ballot to be counted.
