Primary Election - September 10, 2024
Voter Registration Deadline
- September 10, 2024 - Voters may register at the polls on election day.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Absentee ballots are only available to certain residents - see if you match the criteria outlined here. Registered voters in New Hampshire who want to vote by absentee ballot should submit an absentee ballot application to their local county clerk as early as possible.
Ballot Request Deadline
- September 4, 2024 - Final day to apply for mail-in absentee ballot.
Ballot Return Deadlines
- September 10, 2024 - Last day for completed absentee ballots to be received by 5 p.m.
General Election - November 5, 2024

- November 5, 2024 - New Hampshire allows same-day voter registration on Election Day.

Military and overseas citizens can vote by mail using the standard procedure. Ensure your ballot is received by election officials by 5 p.m. on Election Day.
