6. BALLOT MEASURES FOR APPROVAL?
- Ballot Measure #1: Amendment 1 — Increases the amount of a home's value exempted from property tax
- Ballot Measure #2: Amendment 2 — Makes the cap on nonhomestead parcel assessment increases permanent
- Ballot Measure #3: Amendment 3 — Requires voter approval of casino gambling
- Ballot Measure #4: Amendment 4 — Restores the right to vote for most people with prior felony convictions upon completion of their sentences
- Ballot Measure #5: Amendment 5 — Requires 2/3 vote of legislature to impose or increase tax or fee
- Ballot Measure #6: Marsy's Law, Judicial Retirement Age, and Judicial Interpretation Amendment — Adds a Marsy's Law to state constitution, increases judicial retirement age to 75, and prohibits judges from deferring to administrative agencies in interpreting law
- Ballot Measure #7: Survivor Benefits, Votes for College Fees, and College System Amendment — Requires death benefits for first responders and military members, a supermajority vote for college fees, and adds state college system structure to constitution
- Ballot Measure #8: School Board Term Limits, Allow State to Operate Non-Board Established Schools, and Civic Literacy Amendment — Establishes school board term limits, allows state to operate non-board established schools, and requires civic literacy in public education
- Ballot Measure #9: Ban Offshore Oil and Gas Drilling and Vaping in Enclosed Indoor Workplaces Amendment — Bans offshore oil and gas drilling and vaping in enclosed indoor workplaces
- Ballot Measure #10: State and Local Government Structure Amendment — Prohibits counties from abolishing certain local offices, changes start date of legislative sessions, and adds an executive office and executive department to constitution
- Ballot Measure #11: Repeal Prohibition on Aliens’ Property Ownership, Provision on High-Speed Rail, and Criminal Statutes' Effect Amendment — Repeals the following: (a) a prohibition against aliens owning property, (b) a requirement for a high-speed ground transportation system, and (c) a provision saying that changes to a criminal statute are not retroactive
- Ballot Measure #12: Lobbying Restrictions Amendment — Prohibits public officials from lobbying for compensation while in office and six years thereafter
- Ballot Measure #13: Ban on Wagering on Dog Races Amendment — Prohibits betting on dog races
