2. REGISTER TO VOTE

- Primary Registration Deadline: The registration cutoff for Alabama's primary election is on May 21, 2018.
- General Registration Deadline: The registration cutoff for this year's general election is on October 22, 2018.
3. FIND YOUR POLLING PLACE

4. WHAT TO TAKE TO THE POLLS
- Voter ID Laws: Alabama requires a a valid picture ID to vote, though they make some exceptions.
- Accepted Credentials: Here is the list of accepted credentials.
- Don't have valid ID? : If an eligible voter doesn’t have a valid ID and is positively identified by 2 election officials, they can so state in a sworn affidavit so such voter can vote a regular ballot.

6. BALLOT MEASURES
- Ballot Measure #1: State Abortion Policy Amendment — This ballot measure states that the Alabama Constitution should recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life, and should not protect abortion.
- Ballot Measure #2: Board of Trustees Membership for University of Alabama Amendment — This ballot measure would amend the University of Alabama's Board of Trustees Membership.
- Ballot Measure #3: Legislative Vacancies Amendment — This ballot measure would allow vacant legislative seats with about a month left in the term to remain vacant until the next regular election.
- Ballot Measure #4: Ten Commandments Amendment — This ballot measure would authorize the display of the Ten Commandments on state property.
