Committee Watch: Confirmation Hearings For 4 More Judicial Nominees
Vote to see how others feel about this issue
Before bills and nominations are brought up for a passage vote in Congress, they typically have to be considered and approved by relevant committees ― which also conduct oversight of federal agencies. Here’s a look at what Congressional committees will be holding hearings on this week.
Schedule subject to change. All times Eastern.
Wednesday
The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold confirmation hearings beginning at 10am to consider four judicial nominations, including:
- Bridget Bade to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit;
- Eric Miller to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit;
- Karin Immergut to be U.S. District Judge for the District of Oregon;
- Richard Hertling to be a Judge of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Tell your reps what you think they should be focusing on and share your thoughts on the week’s schedule in the comments below!
