What's Congress Voting On? Week of September 18, 2017
Join us and tell your reps how you feel!
House lawmakers will spend this week working back home in their districts, but their colleagues in the Senate will be in the Capitol starting Monday as they work to pass a defense spending authorization for fiscal year 2018.
The Senate’s schedule for the rest of the week is yet to be announced. Check here throughout the week to see the vote results and updates to the schedule.

Senate
Monday after 3:00pm
- H.R. 2810: National Defense Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2018 Passed 89-8.
Tuesday after 12pm
- Confirmation vote on the nomination of Noel Francisco to be Solicitor General Confirmed 50-47.
- Cloture vote on the nomination of William Emanuel to be a member of the National Labor Relations Board Invoked 49-44.
Rest of the Week
- The Senate will be out in observance of Rosh Hashanah Wednesday, hold a pro forma session Thursday, and return on Monday.
