- A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll published earlier this week found that corruption and malfeasance in the federal government was a top issue for an overwhelming majority of voters.
- More than half of the respondents said they want Democrats to control Congress.
- Meanwhile, just as the hearing into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh concluded yesterday, a new Pew Research survey found that 76 percent of registered voters say Supreme Court appointments will be a “very important” part of their 2018 midterm vote in November.
- Health care was a crucial voting issue for 75 percent of respondents, and the economy was to 74 percent.
