Trump Threatens North Korea With 'Fire and Fury'

What’s the story?
North Korea responded starkly early Tuesday to the recent unanimous United Nations resolution imposing tough sanctions against the embattled nation, reports the New York Times. Through the state news agency the North Korean government shared a statement warning "physical action" in retaliation against the latest round of United Nations sanctions.
President Trump’s response?
"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state and as I said they will be met with fire and fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before."
The Japanese government, in an annual threat assessment released publicly on Tuesday, stated:
"North Korea’s development of ballistic missiles and its nuclear program are becoming increasingly real and imminent problems for the Asia-Pacific region including Japan, as well as the rest of the world. It is possible that North Korea has already achieved the miniaturization of nuclear weapons and has acquired nuclear warheads."
A ICBM missile test on July 28 raised concerns that North Korea has mastered the technology to potentially reach much of the continental United States. The only remaining hurdle is whether or not they have managed to construct missiles that can protect a contained nuclear warhead as it re-enters earth’s atmosphere, allowing it to detonate on the intended target.
What can you do?
Should the U.S. pursue aggressive action against North Korea? Should they coordinate with North Korea’s neighbors to provide a "balance of terror" to keep North Korea in check? Should the administration come up with a cohesive message and plan for how it will be shared with the public? Should Congress come back from recess to address the North Korean threat?
