1. KNOW THE DATES
- Special Election: The New York State Legislature special election is on April 24, 2018.
- Federal Primary Election: New York's federal primary election is on June 26, 2018.

- Voter ID Laws: New York does not require an ID to vote, except for certain first-time voters.

- Don't have a valid ID?: Once you have registered to vote, no further voter ID is required to vote in NY except for some first time voters.
