Pledge to End Intimate Partner Violence
Stopping intimate partner violence (IPV) will require stopping the shame and stigma that violence thrives on! Together we can put a stop to the culture that allows one in every three women in America to be victims of intimate physical or sexual violence. To end this stigma, we all need to work
Do women still worry about violence in the home?

Stigma: what is it and why is it so damaging?

Why is this campaign important to you?
My two daughters and I were in a very violent abusive relationship for ten years. We are using our past to help other victims of abuse. My oldest daughter and I have done presentations for law enforcement agencies, courts, domestic violence advocates and other organizations. My youngest, whom is 12, has written a book "Diary of Abuse Through A Child's Eyes." Our website is http://diaryofabuse.weebly.com Check us out out and help us with our fight against domestic violence and child abuse.
Thank you, Misty, for your post and for passing along the information about what you and your daughters are doing to help advocate for all of the other survivors out there. What courage you all have!
I just checked out your web-site, Misty, and it really looks great and is very inspiring. Thanks for joining with us on this campaign!
