That sentence makes no sense. The petitions aren't to put her in jail. She's already going to jail. The petitions are for more jail time and stiffer punishments.
Justice to me is that anyone committing a crime to an animal or human, should get what they did, done to them. If that was the law, how many people would abuse/cause to maim/cause death to animals or humans? The number wouldn't be what they are. They would be a lot lower. Or hand these abusers over to people who love animals...But that will never happen...
Because so-called Humans should have a sense of decency and know better! It is the right thing to do. Animal abuse of any kind ought to not be tolerated.
