Stop GMO Apples! OCA Upsets the GMO Apple Cart

Inside, the biotech industry was handing out an award to a biotech company salivating at the thought of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) approving its patented genetically engineered apple. Outside, the Organic Consumers Association's crowd

Long Overdue: Let’s Close Monsanto’s Revolving Door

A Heartbreaking Defeat. An Urgent Opportunity.

On the evening of November 7, 2012, I sat somberly in a press conference in San Francisco, surrounded by people I'd been working side-by-side with for nearly a year. We'd just narrowly lost (48.5% to 51.5%) a hard-fought, grassroots campaign to our

Why is this campaign important to you?

I did a term paper on Genetically Modified Foods and the stuff I learned in my reseach was so frightening. The power that Monsanto holds over the well being of our lives is incredible. It has seeped into and is controling so many variables in our world/nation that most people picking an item off the grocery store shelf have no idea the choices have already been made for them. And we call ourselves a democracy!

Yes! Governments run our countries and corporations run our governments. The time for voting at polling stations is long gone. It is time to vote with our purchasing habits. Take the time to understand which companies Monsanto own and boycott them from your shopping baskets.
Things are topsy turvy but they will only be put right but enough of us waking up and acting. And time is running out.

Get rid of congress as it is and start over with the kind of people who can and will help. Just say enough is enough and push restart. We in Canada will have to do the same other wise get used to it I guess. We need a BIG Global push on this and say NO.

The last thing that I discovered about them is that the pesticide that is in the seeds on a genetic level has made the insects immune to pesticides (traditional and genetic). It is also making them bigger and stronger.

Terry Hawco

Angela, sorry about your friend...these foods have to effect us, and probably on a genetic level.

Terry Hawco

I have been trying to get people to listen about that for years. Most people won't even look at it. But it is insane what they have planned for us!

Because i don't like Nazis. And the corporations behave exactly like nazis. American corporations have supplied the military with depleted uranium weapons....which were used in both the American wars in Iraq. up from Basra to Irbil....this has been an undeclared nuclear war....because the whole of Iraq is now contaminated with depleted uranium dust....monsanto and their like have been waging an undeclared war on all life on this planet. ERGO monsanto and the like are corporate psychopaths....

ERGO monsanto and the like are corporate psychopaths. Which means we have psychopaths in charge of the whole world. All they want to do is carry on enslaving everybody. Hell is just too good for these people who are destroying the whole planet. Organic agriculture is the only way to go. Monocultural agriculture is ultimately completely destructive and these corporations are doing all this destruction.....and their pharma arm will clean up! Monsanto need to be very publically prosecuted along with all the people that they've bought in all the legislatures of the world. Our wonderful leaders. Hell is too good for them.

Terry Hawco

You got it...They used underground nukes to take down the Twin Towers. The Sears tower has a nuke under it as well. But the American government will never admit it. Google-Demolition Nukes-the info is there if you are willing to dig! They will do ANYTHING for money and power.

I'm not against progress. I'm against profiteering. This is when the environment and people are exploited. I measure Monsanto's actions against three ethical tests:
1. Are they willing to be open about their actions?
2. Do their actions hurt any person or part of the environment?
3. Fairness: Issues like use of authorised patents come to mind.
On the first two they fail. They must stop treating us like idiots.

Terry Hawco

They fail on all 3...Farmers are not allowed to hold over any seeds until the next season or share with friends. Farmers have lost their farms over this. It's unbelievable what they are getting away with!

Saatgut ist wie die Luft und das Wasser: für alle in Freiheit the.

....yes, I say "no" to Monsanto,....ever since....

...in meinem Bekanntenkreis hat es damals geheissen "du spinnst", wenn ich meine Bedenken geäussert habe.......

Simply put if you can't trust the manufacturer of the food, I know I for one am not about to eat it. How do we know what that will do to us internally in time.
