Stop GMO Apples! OCA Upsets the GMO Apple Cart

Inside, the biotech industry was handing out an award to a biotech company salivating at the thought of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) approving its patented genetically engineered apple. Outside, the Organic Consumers Association's crowd

A Heartbreaking Defeat. An Urgent Opportunity.

On the evening of November 7, 2012, I sat somberly in a press conference in San Francisco, surrounded by people I'd been working side-by-side with for nearly a year. We'd just narrowly lost (48.5% to 51.5%) a hard-fought, grassroots campaign to our

The last thing that I discovered about them is that the pesticide that is in the seeds on a genetic level has made the insects immune to pesticides (traditional and genetic). It is also making them bigger and stronger.

Angela, sorry about your friend...these foods have to effect us, and probably on a genetic level.

I have been trying to get people to listen about that for years. Most people won't even look at it. But it is insane what they have planned for us!

I did a term paper on Genetically Modified Foods and the stuff I learned in my reseach was so frightening. The power that Monsanto holds over the well being of our lives is incredible. It has seeped into and is controling so many variables in our world/nation that most people picking an item off the grocery store shelf have no idea the choices have already been made for them. And we call ourselves a democracy!

Yes! Governments run our countries and corporations run our governments. The time for voting at polling stations is long gone. It is time to vote with our purchasing habits. Take the time to understand which companies Monsanto own and boycott them from your shopping baskets.
Things are topsy turvy but they will only be put right but enough of us waking up and acting. And time is running out.

Get rid of congress as it is and start over with the kind of people who can and will help. Just say enough is enough and push restart. We in Canada will have to do the same other wise get used to it I guess. We need a BIG Global push on this and say NO.

...in meinem Bekanntenkreis hat es damals geheissen "du spinnst", wenn ich meine Bedenken geäussert habe.......

Organic, not Monsanto's so called organic through chemical companies like Miracle Grow. We want what was created by our creator, not engineered by man. The Cor
poration, Monsanto needs to stop their deadly seeds.

GMO apples! It had to happen sooner or later! Grow your own!

This is an act of self-defense. I am not against progress but I hope this is a just small first step in recapturing our food supply from Monsanto and stop the insanity of minimizing the biological diversity that protects us with monocultures relying on pesticides. We are the end of the food chain and our bodies are where these pesticides will end up. Monsanto is relying on blatently flawed science and the immoral control over the FDA to sell their seeds and pesticides. We have at the very...

We are the end of the food chain and our bodies are where these pesticides will end up. Monsanto is relying on blatently flawed science and the immoral control over the FDA to sell their seeds and pesticides. We have at the very minimum a right to know about GMOs so we can opt out of these diabolical and irreversable experiments they are carrying out on us, our children and on the environment.
