Veronika, As a senior transgender veteran myself, I fully support you in this petition. I am also the person who created the Transgender Pride Flag in 1999. For these people to show their disrespect to transgender people on the one day that we remember our brothers and sisters is totally horrible. If there is anything I can do to help you beyond this petition, please let me know. Love you.
hey Monica, do you know where there is a flag that is the right size for the castro? would be great to give the merchants an easy compromise (hang the trans flag instead of the pride flag at half mast
Thank you Miss Helms. I hope to be able to purchase or sew your banner one day so that I may fly it above my apartment door. To the best of my knowledge it would be the only transgender flag in High Point, NC Using your banner has opened doors for dialogue between my family and myself, thank you much for your contribution and for helping me open up about being transgendered. I could have not done it w/o your banner.
San Francisco has been a model of trans* inclusion in the US. Let's stay true to that history. Fly the trans flag in November to honor Trans Day of Remembrance and recognize SF's trans communities.
Why do we have to raise all these different flags? Leather, bear, tran, etc... Isn't the whole point of the rainbow flag to be all inclusive? Hence all te colors of the rainbow?
I am signing the petition to request that the Transgender Flag be flown on the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th, because it is important to remember that the LGBT community consists of more than its Gay, Lesbian, or Bi members -- it also includes the Trans community. The Rainbow Pride flag flies most of the year. The Leather Pride Flag is given one week. Surely this cause is important enough to give our Trans family members ONE DAY?
Why is this campaign important to you?

MUMC couldn't care less about inclusion ... And it's about time they paid the price.
Thank you Leslie, you rock! <3
Please sign this. Fly the trans flag. Otherwise the whole LGB"T" solidarity thing is a sham.

I encourage my friends to sign, as well.
We are the GLBT community, not the GL. We are a community with our allies, promoting respect, equality, and strength. Fly the flag. Raise Awareness.
Thank you, Brett! <3
