Happy to report that the Avon Walks in the Rocky Mountains and in San Francisco were both fantastic! The Avon Walk Rocky Mountains in late-June was simply gorgeous (as always)! More than 1,200 participants raised $2.6 million! Our route was even better this year, with a beautiful finish line and Closing Ceremonies right down the Main Street of an exceptionally picturesque Breckenridge, Colorado. My grandmother died at the age of 65 of breast cancer! I have an aunt who is now battling breast cancer and has had a mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

So far my mother is clear of it, and so am I. :)

SURVIVING 2 years as of October 2010. Treatment has aged my body 10 years, but I AM alive! And thankful. I am looking for others who survived stage 2 Her2 positive Breast cancer and have taken Herceptin and Femara to chat about tests undergone and side effects. I would like to be more involved as a volunteeer also.

I lost my aunt last year due to breast cancer. She was the baby of all my mom's siblings. Therefore this cause holds a special place in my heart. And I will help anyway I can : )
