There must be stricter laws against those who abuse god's creatures in any way. Not a day goes by that you don't hear a story of some innocent animal being tortured, abused or killed by some sick "human". Animals give so much love and only ask to be treated properly in return and as long as POS"s like this don't get more severe punishment, the lives of so many precious animals are at risk every day....
I can't stand to see or hear about an innocent cat or any animal abuse. This cat was a happy cat at one time. I think this pastor just didn't want him in his yard so he punished the cat. I feel so sad for the owners. This is heart breaking. This man should be put away and have his minister's license removed forever. How do you carry God's message and then kill a cat. I am sorry for the owners. Their pain must be horrible.
Bless the beasts and the children.....and protect them from people like this. There is never any excuse for this kind of cruelty. When do we start to act as the "more intelligent species" by truly punishing these kinds of actions. This man should serve time, not just a slap on the hand and a fine. If this is all the value we give to the animal kingdom, then we are doomed to a very dismal future..

The current laws are not enforced. It does no good to add more.
