All animals, regardless of domesticated or not, rely on humans to care for them. Whether it be a house pet or animal in the wild, they need our HELP to keep them safe, fed, protect their habitats from destruction, etc. Anyone that harms an animal is more than capable of harming fellow humans as well! Those people are a danger to society and the world in general. We need strong laws - worldwide - to teach these scumbags a lesson!

This is an important cause to me. I love dogs and have opened my home to strays and rescued dogs. When my dogs look up at me with such love in their eyes I wonder how anyone can be so abusive. They depend on us for their well-being and we must step up and punish those who don't.
