Cruelty to defenseless animals makes me cry. Last night as I was leaving a parking lot close to where I live I saw a couple of kittens scampering about. I slowed because I was afraid they might run under the wheel of my car...I was concerned because I was sure they had been abandoned. Within seconds I began to see more kittens & as I glanced around I noticed an amazing number grouped together in a darkened area of the parking lot. I slowed because I was afraid they might run under the wheel of my car...I was concerned because I was sure they had been abandoned. Within seconds I began to see more kittens & as I glanced around I noticed an amazing number grouped together in a darkened area of the parking lot. I drove over wondering what I could do to help them when I noticed a car coming in my direction. A lady parked and came over to my car - a little defensive at first - as she explained she had been feeding these abandoned babies along with several other groups throughout the city. I gave her a donation and wish it could have been more.

Animal cruelty evolves into people cruelty and worse. Statistic support it. End the evil and respect the sacrifice these animals make through no choice of their own to provide sustenance. The Good Lord did not put them here for you to abuse, any more than your wife & children were put here to abuse.
It makes me sick whenever I hear anything about animal cruelty. Animals are dependent on humans to provide them with all basic necessities, and love and kindness are included. They give us unconditional love, so why can't we do the same for them.
