Cruelty to defenseless animals makes me cry. Last night as I was leaving a parking lot close to where I live I saw a couple of kittens scampering about. I slowed because I was afraid they might run under the wheel of my car...I was concerned because I was sure they had been abandoned. Within seconds I began to see more kittens & as I glanced around I noticed an amazing number grouped together in a darkened area of the parking lot. I drove over wondering what I could do to help them when I noticed a car coming in my direction. A lady parked and came over to my car - a little defensive at first - as she explained she had been feeding these abandoned babies along with several other groups throughout the city. I gave her a donation and wish it could have been more.
