WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE? I THINK THAT IS A TITLE TO A BOOK. I JUST HAPPENED TO TALK TO SOMEONE TODAY, WHO WILL BE STARTING CHEMO SOON FOR BREAST CANCER. I DOn't USUALLY SAY TO MUCH ON FACEBOOK BUT NEEDED TO TELL SOMEONE. AND EVERYONE I KNOW IS SLEEPING.

Too many loved ones lost to breasted cancer or just cancer of any kind. I pray for an end to the mass destruction of all cancer for all of women and mankind. I DO PINK EVERYDAY!

I am also blessed to have gotten to know Norma from Alamo Vintage...she is a cancer survivor and the most awesome person....she is constantly on the go and is so very talented....her heart is as big as the universe...there is nothing that will slow her down and she passes her passion and enthusium on to everyone she meets....
I strongly believe that with research one day there will be a cure. Currently we have a targeted therapy for HER2 positive breast cancer in the form of Herceptin. I'd like to see this therapy developed further perhaps modified to incororate other cancers. Made into a more affordable, convenient form. Perhaps a pill that can be taken everyday for the rest of your life to prevent reoccurrence (cure). I am interested in any developments within this field and look forward to the future.
I lost my best friend not to breast cancer, but cancer period. It hurts and this disease needs to be taken under control..
