Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

Founded in 1982, the KAOEF provides scholarships and internships to undergraduate and graduate students nationwide. For the 2008-2009 academic year, the KAOEF awarded $192,150 in scholarships with the average scholarship being $1,625.00 The KAOEF also provides grants to the Kappa Alpha Order for certain educational and leadership programs, such as: Province Councils (regional meetings) Number I''s Leadership Institute The Crusade - A Total Membership Development Program Educational Area Grants (chapter endowments)
