In Los Angeles County, there are more than 4,000 homeless transitional age youth any given night. More than a third are from South Los Angeles. Help us sustain housing, basic needs, educational resources, and support services for homeless transitional age youth.

May is Foster Care Month! Los Angeles leads in the number of youth emancipating from the foster care system. SOH will be opening its independent living program, Hope Refuge, for emancipated foster youth this month and will support nearly 20 young people with education and housing stabilization
