    Please help this cause. Thirty years ago, my new infant (6-8 wks old) was diagnosed with Central Apnea - different from the popular obstructive apnea. Central apnea is best described as "when the baby's brain forgets to tell him to breathe." I was told he was a candidate to be a SIDS baby. Thank God, my baby was spared. But if one baby dies, research must be vigilant!!
