Community Action Group
Some of you will all ready know that I've been looking into starting a action group to save our key services at Glan Clwyd Hospital and now I'm looking for some help in setting the group up, with a Committee, a name for the group and the constition just for a …
Why is this campaign important to you?
Both my babies attended SCBU because they were early by 6 weeks and then 8 weeks and thank goodness it was local as I would express my milk at home and take it to Scbu for all thier feeds, :Spending all day everyday in Scbu was important for us to be with our babies , This wouldn't of been able to do if we had to travel ----------How would a local mother do this if it goes to Wrexham/Bangor :::::::::::::::::::::::: This Unit Needs To Stay OPEN::::::::::::::::::
My early prem babies are now 6 yrs & 4 Yrs -
My nephew was born at 28 weeks . so needed to go straight to scbu . traveling to liverpool was not possible . he was cared for about 10 weeks . staff there brilliant x
Because I believe it's a worthwhile cause, where would all the premature babies go if they close or move.
Because my nefue was a patient at glanclwyd intensive care he was 11 weeks early
On November 14 1993 my daughter Alice was born in the ambulance at the hospital door she was put into the incubator then she was taken into the baby special care unit..
Women should not have to travel miles for maternity appointments or to give birth. Jobs should not be lost.
Because this hospital is the best in this area. Glan Clwyd save my husband quite a few times , even though he had a illness, but unfortunately he died of a hospital blunder in the end but not at this hospital, Glan Clwyd could not do enough for my husband when he was there and he was there a lot, that's why this baby unit should stay open because mothers need a good hospital for their babies and this one is a 100%.
