The mission of Children Awaiting Parents is to find loving adoptive families for children waiting in foster care. Children Awaiting Parents advocates nationally for adoption by bringing attention to the children, by promoting interest among people who could become permanent adoptive families, and by encouraging adoption friendly policies.

Where does the money go?

One Photo Album Many youth have limited photographs of their childhood. When printing a child's Heart Gallery photograph, Children Awaiting Parents prints copies of all photos that were taken during the session, places them neatly in an album, and gives it to the youth.	$10	Donate
Heart Gallery Photograph in CAP Traveling Gallery for One Year Heart Gallery photographs are displayed in various venues and can help increase a youth's visibility within the community. It takes time, money and dedication to be sure these photos are visible to all potential families.	$30	Donate
One Month of Intense Recruitment for One Waiting Youth Children Awaiting Parents would never deny a youth recruitment due to a lack of funding from the agency with whom the child is assigned. With your help, intense recruitment can be provided for a waiting youth.	$40	Donate
One Fax Machine Children Awaiting Parents' Wendy's Wonderful Kids recruiter is always receiving homestudies from families interested in adopting youth listed with CAP. With a fax machine that is continually on the fritz, it's scary to think that we could miss a potential parent's homestudy. A new fax machine would ensure that we are receiving information from all those parents that are interested in adopting our kids.	$50	Donate
Publlication of a Bi-Weekly Edition of The CAP Book As seen here, the original CAP Book staff created what is now a national photolisting of youth that are waiting for their forever family. Every two weeks, a new edition is created and more youth are made visible to forever families.	$250	Donate
