Adventure Cycling Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
Build it. Bike it. Be a part of it!
Donate $10 today and help to create what could become the largest bicycle route network on the planet -- an official U.S. Bicycle Route System!
Adventure Cycling Association (formerly known as Bike Centennial*) is working in partnership with dozens of state and federal agencies, nonprofits, volunteers and the U.S. Congress to create an official U.S. Bicycle Route System, connecting America’s urban, suburban and rural areas.
The routes will connect cyclists across the U.S. with cities, transportation hubs, scenic and historic destinations through existing (and new) infrastructure; it will be numbered and officially recognized by state and federal government agencies.
This visionary project will be similar to the national and international systems blossoming across the globe (such as Euro Velo).
Your $10 tax deductible donation will support the organizing and mapping efforts of Adventure Cycling Association, and will help bring cycling’s transformative power to people and communities across the U.S.
Please donate $10 today (see below for USPS option**)!
Learn more about the U.S. Bicycle Route System at www.adventurecycling.org/usbrs.
Our total fundraising goal for this project is $20,000. We hope to raise $7,500 on Causes.
*Please note: Our IRS name designation is still Bike Centennial, so your thank you note and donation receipt (generated by Network for Good) will list Bike Centennial as the recipient. However, we do business as Adventure Cycling Association. Please contact Julie Emnett if you have questions: 800-755-2453, ext. 236.
**USPS Option: If you're not comfortable donating online (or if you are having issues with the platform), you can mail your donation to Adventure Cycling, 150 E. Pine Street, Missoula, MT, 59802. Please write the phrase “be a part of it” in the note.

In March 2009, Laura Crawford and Russ Roca made the decision to drop out of the status quo and find others around the world who have done the same. Along their travels they have encouraged others to travel by bicycle and follow their dreams.

This is a wonderful way to promote bicycling all over the USA! Traveling by bicycle is a great experience. The thought of a safe way to do it all over the US is very exciting.
