New Products Against Arizona Laws‏

Posted by Colin on May 3

On April 23, Arizona's governor signed a bill into law that mandates racial profiling and discrimination by all police in the state. We support all those who are raising their voices to resist all the anti-immigrant laws that Arizona has passed in recent years. Peace Supplies, which is a part of the Gloo Factory, now has a variety of buttons, stickers and t-shirts to protest what the state has done. We offer bulk rates on all buttons and stickers. If you have an idea or a request for another design,… Read More

I find Dwight to be one of the most Altruistic, generous, and open minded people I have ever met. He is sweet and soft spoken and would do anything for the people and causes that he loves! Truly passionate, gifted, and selfless people are the most precious social resource I can imagine. We can't let greed and "progress" obliterate the last remnants of our communities voice. Please everyone give to Dwight now because I promise that in some way shape or form it will come back to you in the future! Save the Gloo Factory! <3 <3 <3

I have worked with Dwight on and off for the past 11 years screen printing, tabling at events, and doing web support. He has been an inspiration to countless activists over the years and I am really excited to see the community rallying behind him in this time of need! We can do it! Rock on and see you at the events!
Martin
PS Please ask your friends to join the cause and check out the savethegloofactory.org website, we need all the help we can muster! Yeah!

I'm going to echo Rhiwena's words. Besides that Dwight is a dear friend who I care about and believe should be allowed to continue his community work, there are 3 reasons to support this cause: 1) This is a unique and wonderful downtown resource, and I do not believe that there is a better alternative use for the space. 2) Dwight is the kindest guy with a warm heart, and deserves good things in return. 3) Dwight planted a garden and trees out front which are verdant, beautify the space, and some provide fruit. It would be sad if the flowers and trees were covered in concrete.
