Why is this campaign important to you?
I hope we can all stand strong on issues like this one and many more as it is our responsibility to voice and make the changes. If we stop supporting theses big corporations that feed us toxic food to gain a bigger profit then the shift is bound to happen. We can claim back our power as a consumer by bringing a healthy awareness and respecting oneself with each decision that we make for our future from the diner plate to the big garden , The Earth.
First, patents (of GMOs of plants and animals) need to be outlawed. Patents gives the holders exclusive rights accompanied by money and power. When patents are no longer allowed the incentives to produce GMOs is largely reduced. Of course, we need to ban GMOs, patent or no patent, but the temptation to make GMOs is greatly reduced if there is no patents on them.
I agree ban GMO in every country.
Because a profit motive has overridden government and we need in the truest sense of the word "care" for ourselves, family and local folk.
Why only the USA? Ban the GMO in every country where it is currently to be found.
