I agree with you. Glad you are an advocate. I am too. I don't believe dogs should be used by the Police as an extension of their gun. It is cruel and inhumane!

These dogs are known to bite other officers as well. If a Human being is laying on the ground being mulled by a police dog and choses to defend his life then that takes priority over that dog. POLICE DOGS: A lot of time & effort go into training a Police Dog, and the dog has to work hard. Police Dogs have saved many people over the many years, they have been taught to sniff out drugs, thus taking 'some' drug dealers off the street. And they will always stand by the Police Officer's side and protect him! They only attack when given the 'proper' command... Maybe I feel this way because I always took the time to meet our town's Police Dog, and never had a police dog turn on anyone without a command!

These dogs protect us, they deserve the same right by us, please back this wonderful cause up, nothing is as blessed as our true four legged friends.
