When the Republican Whip of the Senate Mitch McConnell states that this congress will do nothing to help the President to win a second term, and then the Tea Party House did nothing to support the President''s American Jobs Act but voted to repeal Obamacare some 33 times, tells us all that something is wrong with a Political party that puts defeating the president of the United States, by doing nothing places them putting the party's interest ahead of the American People and helpline the middle class this country recover and have shown that they favor the wealthy over the best interest of the citizenry. I sign this petition gladly to let the Republican Party know the more they do to obstruct progress, the less likely they will ever regain power. I agree with you. This firefighter is being terminated because he was told not to bring politics into the workplace. By doing so he was insubordinate and disrespectful to his colleagues by not following the workplace policies. I hope that he would have been terminated if he had brought in toilet paper or other paraphenilia supporting the Republicans.
This is disgraceful.Never has a President been so disrespected, yet he continues to stand proud and lead this country with great courage,I voted for him twice and I pray nightly for the safety of him and his family.
You know I have seen more bigotry wrapped in religious righteousness during this Presidents time in office. One would have to say is it really that you disagree with his politics or is it the possibility that you cant look in the mirror and see yourself for the real racist you are? Our society has become corrupt , void of any type of respect manners or etiquette, and it saddens me to see it wrapped in the word of God. The problem I have with our path to a democracy is we are a constitutional republic. Franklin described a democracy as 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch. As long as we keep pushing away from our founding which focused on individual rights and not the collective, I don't see any rainbows or lollipops my brother.

We don't have to respect Obama. There is that little amendment that you folks upheld for so long when Bush was president called the 1st Amendment right to free speech and assembly.

President Obama won the election and everyone needs to respect the President whether they like it or not. A house (America) divided will fall. Just like other nations, America will fall if we do not get it together. God is not the author of confusion!
