The day that we will never forget should always be remembered and the victims and heroes of that infamous act of terror should always be respected and honored by our future generations.

How about making the day they killed Osama bin Laden a holiday

It was on this day that the end of the world, as I knew it, began.

Kathy Moore

I got some serious flack by signing this one bro! You would be surprised how many people Do Not want to see this a Nat'l holiday. After listening to some of my friends im not so sure i should have supported it either. I did sign the petition to bring back prayer in school though. :)

I knew 3 people who perished in this tragedy. What better way to honor them and all other American's and their families that suffered because of the coward's who kill for religion! Lets do this and stand strong!

Maybe not so much a national holiday as a national day of remembrance so that we don't forget what and happened and by whom -- like December 7, etc. God only knows that government workers have enough holidays as it is.

I think your point is important. A day of rememberance seems more pertinent. If we made every great tragedy a holiday they would all eventually lose meaning.

This is the right thing to do for everyone in America.
