The Road to Benin, Africa

The journey has begun ... yesterday with a send-off benefit at Behan's Irish Pub in Burlingame, California, with many friends and much support raising nearly $2000. Arrived at the airport at 4am this morning only to find out that our flight to NYC was cancelled. We now have a 4pm scheduled departure for today and have been rerouted through Dubai. We expected to encounter some surprises - just not this early into the trip. Stay tuned for updates ...
