Greetings: The Sabine Pass United Methodist Church has sponsored the Soul Food Cafe on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 since November 2005, offering residents an opportunity to get out of their FEMA trailers and enjoy some fellowship and a homecooked meal. We are in process of publishing a cookbook of favorite recipes from that ministry and from friends of the community. We have made a "last minute" decision to include advertising to off-set some of the expenses. If you or the company you represent would be interested in being a part of this venture you may e-mail your "press-ready" ad on or before Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Prices are:
Full page 4 1/8x 7 1/4= $75.00
1/2 page 4 1/8 x 3/ 1/2= 45.00
1/3 page 4 1/8 x 2 1/4 = 35.00 (perfect for business cards)
1/4 page 4 1/8 x 1 5/8 = 30.00
Patron Page-only business or individual name will be listed- approc. 25-33 characters per line= $15.00

Our group from Ridgewood Park UMC, just got back from a mission trip to Sabine Pass. We worked on both the site at Sabine Pass as well as the pasonage at St. Johns UMC, Kitty Key's other church. We accomplished a lot and are looking forward to making another trip down there!

November/December has been a great time for both churches in the charge with teams from FUMC Whiteboro, Texas, Aldersgate UMC Delaware, LeVerle Udie and friends from Indiana and Ridgewood Park UMC, Dallas.......looking forward to Denton to end 2009. We've accomplished miracles at St. J's parsonage and "signed on" with contractors for "lifting us up" and slan& piers in the Pass.....good news for everyone......thanks ya'll!!!!!!!!!
