Why is this campaign important to you?
I have 3 dogs, and one of them is a pitt, she is a beautiful, loving and friendly. After the tornado I was warned by animal control that, people were stealing this breeda nd others to use them as bait dogs in order to train their dogs to fight. They duck tape their mouths and basically allow the other dog to rip them to shreds. When i thought of someone doing this to my loving Belle Starr, or any other dog, my heart just sank. what kind o person does this. they should all be put in prison....

We should have stronger sentencing for this type of abuse. People have a choice, and these dogs do not. Our animals should not be treated like SLAVES!!

So horrible, Darlene! This probably happened after Hurricane Sandy, too! Incidents like this should be made public so people can protect their own and so the criminals can be caught by the law, and spend time in prison where they belong!
I love all animals and anyone who would abuse them is a monster and deserves to be punished.

I love my pets. They are my babies! Do we punish children by starving them, making them stay out in the cold and rain, beat them when they misbehave, make them fight to kill or die...... I can't imagine what kind of person would do this............ besides a Mr. Vick.

So, I could not find the petition. But if you just wanted to comment, the only way to fight the bloody dog fighting is harsher punishiment like the new one in Michigan. 20 years in jail, fine and not only for the one the arranged the fight but for all people that attended this bloody event.
Some pages are like this and if it is not a petition, I just like to comment on it. And if petition, I do sign.

It is just heartbreaking! Knowing the money that is brought into this horrible "sport" that people actually pay to watch! How sick is this world! It needs to stop!
this makes me sick to my stomach...I cannot fathom throwing any of my dogs into a ring & watching them be tortured or torture another animal...just pure evil..smh...
these people should ALL be in prison, and NEVER LET OUT.
