Scholarship awards programs are taking place across the country. The Foundation will post a list of our scholarship recipients on our Web site and on Facebook later in May.
The Foundation is very sad to announce the passing of our friend Ken Mackey. Ken was the first president of the Posey County Community Foundation. He volunteered countless hours for the Foundation, even after I was hired in 2001. In lieu of flowers, Nancy, Ken’s wife, has asked that contributions be made to the Mackey-Sidlo Fund in the Posey County Community Foundation.
Mother's Day will be here before you know it (May 9!) Here's a great gift for Mom or another special woman in your life -- a way to publicly honor her and support the Posey County Women's Fund. The Foundation has announced that scholarship opportunites are available through the Foundation's Community Scholarship program and the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program.
