Education is the foundation of every single persons life. I, as an educator, feel that education should have adequate funding as well as a bold foundation of where it can be applied. I have never agreed with politicians, and those who serve in public office living in a higher wage bracket than they can actually spend in a lifetime. Yes, I do appreciate what they do for us, and the causes they fight for, but come on, let's exercise some financial common sense here and utilize tax dollars...

I have never agreed with politicians, and those who serve in public office living in a higher wage bracket than they can actually spend in a lifetime. Yes, I do appreciate what they do for us, and the causes they fight for, but come on, let's exercise some financial common sense here and utilize tax dollars where they can benefit the generations coming behind us instead of those who are fixing to retire, and have other means of which to live on. Things are a little twisted, we need to re-visit policies enacted to provide wages that equal a person's performance, such as soldiers, law enforcement officers and teachers, who should make more than bare minimum, versus professional sports players, celebrities, and politicians who make oodles of dollars. School boards complain about adequate grade scores and that in itself should be a red flag for those in legislation that New Mexico schools need appropriate teaching materials and funding that come from state and government not out of teacher's pockets. Let's invest in our future!
