Women do have to beprotected, especially in this world!

Women have to go for the gusto and GRAB their own chances-- no one will do it or you-- in fact people seem to enjoy watching someone suffer and adding to that suffering -- it's rare that anyone will stick up for you when you are down and out. Those who act like it will most probably become your VICTIMIZERS.

And no one is obligated to protect anyone -- women need to learn how to PROTECT THEMSELVES -- mentally, physically, economically and spiritually. Your protectot will have POWER over you-- do you want that?????

On the subject of the "ex girlfriend target" set forth by the NRA a group I fully support.. you are taking it out of context. The target was intended for training purposes, the particular target featured in your story is known as a "no go". Different Types of targets include pictures of enemy combatants and non-combatants. They help teach trigger discipline (basically when too shoot and when not too) to civilians, cops, swat and other LEO's.

That low blow has me asking the question is your cause politically motivated?

Shame.

Women need moor Protection!

Women need to learn, when they are LITTLE GIRLS-- how to survive in this world, how to be YOUR OWN PERSON, how to FIGHT, how to AVOID DANGER, and NOT TO EVER depend on another person for comfort or support or protection -- WOMEN- BE YOUR OWN PERSON!! YOU CAN DO IT - NO ONE ELSE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!!!

This cause is so important to me. I was a victim of domestic abuse in my past relationship. The emotional abuse was worse than getting physically abused. I remember being in the ER needing stitches because my ex threw a lighter at my face that split my lip through to the guns requiring 8 stitches, and I said it happened falling and hitting my face on the stair railing. One day I looked at shell of a woman I was going through the motions and couldn't take it anymore. I fought hard to leave...

One day I looked at shell of a woman I was going through the motions and couldn't take it anymore. I fought hard to leave and regain my life and me. Unfortunately, I was raped shortly after leaving my ex by a stranger in a place I thought I was safe. It has taken the love of my family and friends, counseling, and 7 years (since I left) to finally see the woman I was when I met my ex. Violence against women is unacceptable. I know more women who have been victimized in some way than women who haven't. Whatever I can do to help more women get out safely and for this epidemic to stop is my duty!

I hope you are doing well now. Victims of domestic abuse need to rebuild their bodies as well as their souls-- I hope you are doing all you can to stay healthy.

More education is needed, the person who abuses a woman or a young girl is not the strongest but the weekest stinking rat for using position, strength, authority or any other form to subdue those who cannot defend themselves. Violance seems to be acepted by the courts too as they give the person a couple of years then he is out again after a short while and does the same thing over again. What is disturbing is that in some places soilders are comanded to rape the women. This is madness where is the person' s dignity an act and sign of love turned into something so ugly it is a shame.
