In France and Germany you can buy and eat horse meat also.
Spare a thought for the fact that in the main few people in the UK are actually starving and there is no need whatsoever to get to that point. Korea is very different a mate of mine rescued a girl there who was on the point of starvation and eating GRASS to survive.
