Because psicological abuse is silent but just as powerful and profound as physical abuse. Many people are not aware of this. There is an enormous amount of abusers and victims out there that do not even know that they are abusing or being abused.

Such is the thought, I feel certain, of all animals that continue to suffer needlessly, unknowingly and blaming themselves for their own torture as do many people. Let's create a list of agencies with phone numbers that can be called at a moments notice that will circumvent these actions and put an end on any level, small or large to abuse of any kind. Now is a good time.
I do totally agree with you because I feel all the time because I went through alot of abuse that I have a very low self esteem that I do thing to end up inflicting abuse on my self. emotionally, mentally and physically but not hurting my self. So its a very hard cycle to get out of and i have children and it make it very hard because they take advantage because my father was physically, emotionally, mentally and verbally so I know i slip at times but i don't want to be the same.

I support the Cause for several resons.. Luckily enough I have not been a victim of abuse, yet, as a teacher, I have seen cases of abuse of children in many forms, and impact on their little souls and minds. I have experienced defeats in my fight for their freedom but I am not giving up. It is a vicious circle, and must be ended. And not only by Law.. People need to be constantly reminded of the consequences of abuse.. Laws should also be changed.. It's hard, but at least in my small...

So everbody, do something in your own little community, be that your family, your neighbor or a friend. Step off the computer and step into their lives! Give an example!
I Have Been In Abusive relationships Most Of My adult Life . It Has Been 4 Years this June That A Man Has Not Raised A Hand to Me ! I Am one Of The Lucky Ones I Survived And Still I Have Nightmares And P.T.S.D And Probably Will For a Long Time , Looking Back Now I Can't Believe It Was Me I Have Seen And been Thru Some Of The Most Sickest Form Of Abuse Imagined How I Survived I Can Only Say GOD Was With Me ! this place is very important! we might be mounds of miles away from each other, yet we can still reach out to help, to hug, to reassure , the victims are able to move on and have a positive life! we have our days, yet hay, so does everyone. if you're negative about this site, maybe you should think if you want to continue to be a part of it. Just like the abusive relationship its your choice to stay or go, yet you might want to just talk.only one reason we are her.......remember God loves us!~.
I will try this site hoping I can learn something to carry with me to use when I need it. I'm 60 now and divorced but certainly not healed
