Volcano Challenge 2011

Posted by Amy on Jul 16

We need people to sign up for our 2011 Volcano Challenge!

EFTC are climbing 3 volcanoes in Guatemala in January to raise money for the project.
The first Volcano Challenge took place in Jan 2010 and 11 challengers managed to raise £34,000 after successfully trekking to altitudes of 4000 metres, coming up close to molten lava and camping on the volcanic slopes. The experience as unbelievable... and we need you to sign up for our 2011 challenge.

Another week, another fundraiser!
Thursday night was our fundraising event at Manchester City Football Club all thanks to our lovely ambassador Shaun Wright-Phillips. We are still counting up the total amount raised but it was in the thousands....
Star auction prizes went for up to £10,000 and some familiar faces from the football pitch helped to make the night really special. Thanks to Shaun and everyone who helped make this night of glamour possible!

Hi Everyone!

We had a great event on Friday night here in Nottingham and we managed to raise £15,000!!! This was more money than we could have hoped for and of course it will go straight into the project in Guatemala. Thanks to everyone who came and who donated auction items. And for those who missed it... you missed a great night! Make sure you come next year xxxx

Hi everyone!

We are just about to launch our first ever christmas gift catalogue!
It is full of feel good christmas presents- that will make a big difference to the project in Guatemala. You can buy your loved ones gifts such as 'a chicken for a Guatemalan family', 'a christmas hamper for a family struggling in poverty', 'feed the school for a day' and loads more.

We will send you a card and a certificate which you can pass on to your loved ones so that they know what your money has bought this year.

The catalogue is being printed in British Pounds and in Euros
If anyone would like a copy please email your address to amy@eftc.org.uk and I will send one out to you.

Best wishes and thanks for joining the cause!
